I'm Jill Smyth.I’ve made a home in the dreamy and gritty bridges, rivers, trees, and hills of Pittsburgh. Of the places I have lived, this is the one that came to me in dreams and visions. This is the place that called me home.
I cultivate native plants and kindness and draw a line of distinction between what it means to be nice, and what true kindness actually is. I am an artist and a teacher. A guide, an herbalist, a humanist. I center my relationship with nature and love working with folks who are actively pursuing a relationship with themselves in the spirit of grace and accountability. Learning to navigate the gentle and firm places where boundaries are held. |
